Matt has provided design advice, curtain fabrics, wallpaper and fitting services for three large projects. He has a wonderful eye and is incredibly knowledgable. His curtain service is first class. I wouldn’t start a project without his input. There are always gems to find in his lovely shop.

Matthew has completed 3 different design projects for us. The expertise and creative flair he brings is unrivaled in South Manchester. Matthew guided us through the whole design process and project managed the re-design. From our colour scheme to soft furnishings, Matthew sourced the best fabrics and found some beautiful timeless pieces for our home. Our soft furnishings and curtains for all three rooms were made by Matt to a high standard, completed on time and to budget. I love going into the shop to see Matt, it really makes my day, he is warm and always has something special that catches my eye - he really knows his customers. Everyone who visits my home comments on the work that Matt has done and I always send friends and family his way because, I know that he works to a high standard and offers excellent customer service.
I've been using David Gavin for at least 10 years now in my work as an interior designer. I find it such a valuable source of beautiful wallpapers and fabrics from many of the top brands. Matt has an in-depth knowledge of his product, which often saves me time, and consequently my clients money, as he's able to pull out examples of the kind of thing I'm looking for and advise on the suitability of those products. His curtain makers are excellent and he never lets me down on a deadline. The lovely and interesting furniture and accessories he sells are something of an added bonus. How lucky we are to have a shop like this in our neighbourhood.
Please DO NOT listen to the negative reviews. Matthew at David Gavin has just completed the curtains for my whole house and has done the most wonderful job. From choosing the fabrics and wallpaper to delivery and fitting, the whole process was made easy and uncomplicated with Matthews wealth of knowledge and understanding. His customer service skills are some of the best in the business and I would not hesitate to use him again. In fact I recommended him to a friend and he’s just completed her house, having done another superb job. Thank you Matthew for all your help and for making curtain and wallpaper picking a joy!!!!
